Veronawalk Rules & Regulations
PICKLEBALL COURT RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Verona Walk pickleball courts are reserved for residents and their overnight guests. Organized team tournament play with outside communities can be scheduled with adequate notice.
HOURS/COURT USE
North (4 court facility): 7:30 am to dusk
South (2 court lit facility): 7:30 am to 9 pm
7:30 am-10:30 am daily on all courts, 6:00-9:00 pm courts 5 and 6: Open Play.
Sign up on white board at the courts to play individual games in turn.
During the winter season, various groups reserve courts for recurrent weekly play. The CourtReserve app can be used to view court schedules and make reservations. See www.Veronawalkpickleball.com. Reservations have priority over walk-ons.
GENERAL RULES
APPROPRIATE ATTIRE IS REQUIRED: shirts, shorts, pants, or skirts, CLEAN court shoes or sneakers.
QUIET PADDLES AND BALLS ARE REQUIRED for play. Balls are provided in holders inside the courts. Quiet paddles can be borrowed from the equipment lockers adjacent to the courts, returning them after use. Information about quiet paddles can be obtained from the pickleball club.
COURTEOUS, RESPECTFUL BEHAVIOR IS ALWAYS EXPECTED. Exceptionally loud noise, rude or aggressive conduct and verbal harassment are prohibited.
COURT RESTRICTIONS: Courts are to be used only for pickleball play. No pets, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, or any other use. No smoking or vaping permitted in or around the courts.
PARKING: Golf carts and bicycles must be parked outside of the court fences and completely off the sidewalk.
PERSONAL ITEMS must be kept away from the playing area and removed from the court after play.
OUTSIDE INSTRUCTORS must be vetted by the management company prior to teaching at the courts.
CHILDREN under 12 must be accompanied by an adult unless participating in an organized program or lesson. Parents are responsible for children’s behavior and will be held accountable for any damages to the courts caused by their children.
